Fellowship
An FOW fellowship offers an unparalleled experience of intensive learning of the chamber wind repertory while working in a close-knit environment with supportive faculty and surrounded by the restorative atmosphere of Hidden Valley
Included in the Fellowship
Mentorship by renowned faculty
Side-by-side coaching and performances with the faculty in three chamber concerts. Each fellow performs at least one piece per program
Instrument-specific instruction through lessons and masterclasses
A mock audition with feedback from all faculty
Additional festival-wide group sessions and chamber readings
All fellowships are tuition-free and include room and board
Fellow housing is provided in the Waddell Center Residence Hall
Most meals are included
Fellows are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from Hidden Valley Music Seminars
Participants can have fellowships for up to two years either through successful re-audition or potential re-invitation
Second-year fellowships do not need to be consecutive
